This bowling alley had to be born here.
Every HOTLAB has to take a little piece of the place it was born in.
When we first started imagining HOTLAB, one thing was pretty clear: we didn't want to build a place that could look exactly the same in any city.
The food can share the same DNA. So can the attitude. But every HOTLAB needs something that belongs to the place it's in.
When we arrived in the Canary Islands, we discovered the island's traditional bowling game.
We loved it precisely for how simple the idea is: get together, throw, compete, get a bit worked up, have a laugh and try again.
And we started turning the idea over in our heads.
How could we take that feeling and make it our own?
We didn't want to copy it. We wanted our own take on it.
That's how we ended up putting two mini bowling lanes inside HOTLAB.
Smaller. Faster. A bit more chaotic.
But born from an idea we discovered right here.
That's why the bowling alley at HOTLAB Lanzarote isn't just there to decorate the place.
It's our small way of remembering where this experiment began.

HOTLAB was born from the urge to try things, create and break the routine. From the idea that eating can be so much more than sit down, order and leave.
We believe in places that wake something up in you.

HOTLAB is food, play, culture, community and experimentation. A space where a recipe can turn into a collab, any random night into an event, and a weird idea into the next project.
